The Pension Team is operated by Proximo Venture Corporation, 1340 East Route 66, Suite 200, Glendora, CA 91740. It is an independent insurance agency serving California educators and public servants. Our agents are licensed insurance producers in the State of California. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of CalSTRS, CalPERS, the Los Angeles Unified School District, or any other public retirement system, school district, employer or government agency. Where we reference those systems, it is to explain how they work, not to suggest they sponsor us.
Everything published here is general information about retirement systems, supplemental retirement accounts and insurance products. It is not tax advice, legal advice, or investment advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell any product. Your situation is specific to you. Before acting, speak with us directly and, where the decision has tax or legal consequences, with a qualified tax professional or attorney.

Insurance and annuity products are offered through the carriers we are appointed with and are subject to their underwriting, approval and issuance. Product availability varies. Guarantees are backed by the claims-paying ability of the issuing carrier, not by us, and not by any government agency.
Using this site, reading a page, or submitting a request form does not by itself create a client or advisory relationship. That relationship begins when we agree to work together.
When you submit a form you confirm that the information you give is accurate, that the phone number is yours, and that you are 18 or older. Please do not submit information about anyone other than yourself without their permission. What you will receive: If you tick the optional consent box on one of our forms, you agree to receive text messages from The Pension Team about the retirement review you requested: appointment confirmations and reminders, rescheduling, follow-ups about your request, and service updates on any policy you hold with us. We text only people who have given us their own number and consent. We do not buy, sell or share lead lists, and we do not send texts on behalf of any other company.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
To stop: Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will get one message confirming you have been unsubscribed and will receive no further texts unless you reply START.

Our scheduling calendar is provided by a third party, and we link to outside resources such as public retirement system websites. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Pension Team and its agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of this site or reliance on its general information. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud, and nothing here waives any right you have under California insurance or consumer protection law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the state and federal courts located in California have jurisdiction over any dispute.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
